Edinburgh Language Academy

Edinburgh Language Academy teaches English to students from all over the world. You can study English full-time or part-time (part time courses are only available for students from the EU or with a dependent visa).

Our teachers are qualified and experienced and their aim is to make every lesson interesting and informative.

We have courses from beginner to advanced level. The courses offered are in general English, English for Academic Purposes and English for specific purposes.

You can study for:

• Trinity ESOL - GESE, ISE
• SQA ESOL Qualifications
• Work – Engineering, Military, Business, Oil & Gas, Law Enforcement

Accreditations

• ELA is accredited by the British Council.
• The school is an exam centre for Trinity ESOL GESE and ISE Examinations.
• We are also an exam preparation centre for Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
• Edinburgh Language Academy is a Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) approved centre.
• We have courses for Scottish ESOL qualifications. An ESOL qualification helps you apply for jobs or university places. More information about the courses can be found here.
